>At the outset of the 21st century sickness goes viral.

LED projected DNA sequencing spliced haphazardly into cortical reasoning. An acute language infestation when viewed through The Net results in global pandemic - an unscheduled interruption in your Scheduled Programming climaxing into hyper-modernity and its supernal exports;

retail frenzies and mass graves.

Welded into our apartments by the apparat(U.S.) of the state we have no choice but to bear witness. Wuhan, Rome, California, Omaha... A writhing, now barely human mass, stitched together by the cyber-infestation that makes its own further manifestations inevitable watches on in ham-fisted horror as a sickness-matrix births itself onto the world-stage at the scale of nanometers.

A global taskforce is assembled only to be dissolved by the nucleic acid of the superior contagion. Mutation is both the engine and the ever-evolving Constitution of hyper-modernity. International trade paired with ubiquitous communications infrastructure makes for an unprecedented transmission vector as The Economy continues to widen and seep like a festering, untreated wound which has long eschewed any notions of healing.

Blood - more crude than oil - floods the streets and fills our lungs as viral commodification continues to arrive from a post-human future.

If you listen carefully enough you will hear Corona-chan slithering out of her soup and into yours - and in knowing that nothing human makes it out of the near-future once first-contact has been made we are left to decompose in our unaffordable tenements muttering in a hushed panic beneath the flimsy fabric masks covering our flimsier fleshy facades,

"I have no paper, and I must wipe".
